Pages read September 2025

My total pages read for September was 1,928. This number may be on the high side as I’m reading more on my ereader than previously and the page numbers I’m recording are actually screen numbers.

A quick search of word counts per page in the interwebs yields somewhere around 250-300 words per page for a novel. My ereader seems to have around 230-240 words per screen so my page count may be around 15% overstated.

During the month I finished Joel Rosenberg’s third book in the Marcus Ryker series, The Jerusalem Assassin.

I started and finished a further five books comprising Rosenberg’s fourth book in the series, The Beirut Protocol; Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights; Torben Sondergaard’s 412 Days; H G Wells The Time Machine; and Franklin Dixon’s Hardy Boys Mystery The Tower Treasure.

I had read Wuthering Heights some 45 years ago (!) at school, and The Time Machine somewhere in those intervening years. I don’t recall having read any Hardy Boys mysteries previously - being more a Three Investigators, Secret Seven or Famous Five kind of guy in my younger days.

The books Wuthering Heights, The Time Machine and The Tower Treasure were all ebooks obtained from Standard Ebooks which starts with Project Gutenberg books and improves the typesetting and formatting.

I read a couple of chapters from Jonathan Cahn’s Paradigm, and commenced Andrew Murray’s Abide with Christ.
